Ruby programming, one facet at a time

Guides cut for how Ruby actually reads.

Korvixalix writes PDF guides to Ruby programming — from installing the interpreter to reading how it manages memory. Each guide names exactly what it covers, and nothing it doesn't.

About Korvixalix

Written for readers, not for launches.

Korvixalix started as a set of notes for teaching Ruby to colleagues who were tired of documentation written for people who already knew the answer. Every guide is a standalone PDF: real code, explained in order, with no chapter that exists just to pad the page count. We don't publish anything we wouldn't hand to someone learning to code next to us.

The full catalogue

Ten guides, in the order most readers use them.

Why a PDF, and why this way

What you actually get.

One PDF, yours to keep

Every guide is delivered as a single downloadable PDF. No account, no app, no subscription to cancel.

Content lists, not blurbs

Every product page lists the actual modules inside the guide, so you know what you're paying for before you buy.

Fixed, listed prices

Prices don't move around a countdown timer. What's on the page is what you pay.

Start free, go deeper later

The Free Guide is a genuine starting point, not a sales page. There's no obligation to buy anything after it.

Questions

Frequently asked

What format do the guides come in?+

Every guide is a PDF. You'll get a download link after payment, and the same link is emailed to you as a backup.

Do I need to read them in order?+

No, but they're written that way. Guides and Modules build on ideas from earlier ones, so if you're new to Ruby, starting with the Free Guide will make the later ones easier going.

Which Ruby version do the guides target?+

All examples are written against current, actively maintained Ruby releases and avoid syntax that's specific to one minor version wherever possible.

How do I pay?+

Each product's "Buy" button takes you to a secure payment page for that guide. Once payment is confirmed, you'll get your download link.

What if I'm not happy with a guide?+

See our refund policy for the specifics and how to get in touch.
